Note, this course is on Mondays from 13:30 – 15:30 in Newbridge House.

Croquet

Croquet is a sport that involves hitting plastic or wooden balls with a wooden mallet through a series of hoops set out on a grass playing lawn. It can be played as a team or individually.

Benefits

  • It is played outdoors so plenty of fresh air in a green space.
  • It’s a fun way to get gentle exercise and socialise.
  • Brain exercise – it is compared to snooker on grass with the puzzle-solving aspects of chess.
  • It can be played at any age.
