Course: Art Class

Course Start Date: 20th September 2023
Description:

The Art class is for everyone – beginner, intermediate or an experienced artist. Participants choose which medium they wish to use… Watercolours, Gouache, Acrylics or Oils. If you do not know which you prefer, just come to the class and learn about each medium. It is a light-hearted class as you are doing it for pleasure. We are a social bunch too and quite often we learn from each other.

We do not use solvents like turpentine and white spirits in class as many people are allergic to them.

  • It is a two hour class – creativity takes time!

  • A person’s painting is as individual as their handwriting. 

  • Choose subjects that appeal to you. It is very difficult to be creative about a subject that is not interesting for the painter.

  • All materials are acquired by you but the tutor can advise on different brands and where to get them.
